Building a healthcare brand you won’t forget

Everything about haelsi says ” different”. Not your ordinary practice name, (‘haelsi’ is how an Austrian would say the English “healthy”. Not your ordinary blue/white/green corporate colors. “haelsi” is not even capitalized –  the brand is friendly, approachable, and emphatic.

With that said, we had to put together a design system that conveys the company values, and sets the base for a crisp and friendly user interface.

Designing a portal that you want to revisit

A patient portal provides a chance for the brand to have multiple touch-points with the patients, assuring reoccurring interactions with the product and upselling opportunities.

Why is this important for the patients: all the doctor visit paperwork can be accessed from one single place. The patient can also chat with doctors, buy memberships, see their preventive care results and schedule new appointments.

Finding a good doctor brings extra headaches to an already unpleasant state one might be. Which doctor has the best expertise for a specific issue, how to make sure they are also thoughtful and caring?

What about the consultation prices, timing and ease of booking? 

Different patients have different pain points that we addressed in the booking flow. And it seems that the solution works, with 11% conversion rate and and a patient NPS score  bigger than 85%.
